CDL Tanker Driver - Island Restrooms
Location: Belle Glade, FL 33430 (The Palm Beaches and Lake Okeechobee)
Pay: $23.00 – $28.00 per hour
Employment Type: Full-time, In-person

Welcome to Island Restrooms, South Florida's premier portable restroom company. For over a decade, we've delivered exceptional portable toilets and luxury restroom trailers for private events and commercial clients across all of Southern Florida and the Florida Keys. Steady growth has created an opening for a CDL Tanker Driver at our Palm Beach Depot in Belle Glade, Florida.

This is a hands-on role behind the wheel of our new and impeccably maintained wastewater/septic tanker fleet, servicing routes across Southern Florida. You'll take pride in representing a company known for 5-star service, running efficient routes, and keeping our equipment in excellent condition. Full-time hours make this a strong fit for a driver looking for consistent, dependable work close to home.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate a wastewater/septic tanker to pump wastewater from holding tanks and portable sanitation equipment, and transport it on assigned routes
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintain the vehicle in excellent working condition
• Follow all DOT, safety, and company procedures for tanker operation and waste transport
• Provide friendly, professional customer service when interacting with clients and site contacts
• Accurately document service activities, mileage, and any equipment issues
• Assist with special events and VIP properties as needed

What We're Looking For

• Valid CDL (Class A or B) with tanker endorsement
• Clean driving record (required for insurance and access to client sites)
• Ability to pass a background check and DOT drug screen
• Comfortable operating vacuum/pump equipment; prior tanker, septic, or vacuum truck experience is preferred
• Willingness to service portable toilets and restroom trailers — a plus
• Experience or willingness to learn restroom trailer delivery and setup — a plus
• Strong attention to detail and pride in clean, well-maintained equipment
• Reliability, integrity, and a willingness to get your hands dirty
• Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather and perform physical tasks (lifting, pushing, pulling)
• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team

Important Note: This position requires a valid CDL with tanker endorsement, a clean driving record, and a background check to meet our insurance requirements and gain access to certain client properties.
