Key Responsibilities Oversee the daily operations of the nursing home and ensure efficient facility performance. Provide leadership, direction, and support to department heads and facility staff. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing skilled nursing and long-term care facilities. Promote high standards of resident care, safety, dignity, and quality of life. Monitor facility performance, quality outcomes, and operational goals. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives that support quality care and operational excellence. Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate staff while promoting teamwork and accountability. Foster a culture of continuous learning, professional development, and employee engagement. Build and maintain strong relationships with residents, families, employees, healthcare providers, and the local community. Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally. Manage facility budgets, monitor expenses, and identify opportunities to optimize resources. Work collaboratively with clinical leadership to support strong patient care and regulatory outcomes. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum of 3 year of experience in nursing home administration, long-term care leadership, or a related healthcare management role . Strong knowledge of skilled nursing and long-term care operations. Understanding of federal and state regulatory requirements for nursing homes. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving skills. Ability to make sound decisions and effectively manage challenging situations. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary leadership team. Massachusetts Nursing Home Administrator License or eligibility preferred/required as applicable.
